Rim to Rim Driver

If you are a Rim-to-Rim hiker you would be ever so grateful to have a Rim-to-Rim driver!  Ann knows that she can count on Greg to get her to one rim and pick her up 23.9 miles later at the end of the hike.  This year Ann, Brian and Andy started on the North Rim and hiked south.  They all spent the night at Jacob's Lake before Greg dropped them off and then he drove to the South Rim.  Between rims he took some photographs that he is sharing.

He hikers Ann (with Leftie attached), Brian and Andy.  Ann give me the clear impression that she has done a whole bunch of these hikes and is very comfortable about it.  They guy, well they just hope they can keep up with her!

This would be where the three hikers would emerge up from the bottom of the canyon.

Oh, Greg.

Oh, Greg.

South Rim

Well, the uber fabulous team of Dave and Karen have shared some photos from their recent trip to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.  The reason for the trip was the celebration of Dave finally reaching 'old dude' status!  He is now old enough to qualify for the much sought after Senior Pass, officially known as 'America the Beautiful', the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass.

You are golden now, old dude!!

Wow!

Oh my!

Love it!

Oh yes!

I think Dave was given a sunset angel for his birthday!

I love getting photos from friends that can be shared.  The efforts that are put into getting the images ready and sending them are appreciated.
