A Visual History of Thomas Jefferson

The Visitor Center is one's first impression as a visitor to Monticello.  It houses a museum, a coffee shop, eating patios, a gift shop and is the boarding area for buses that transport guests up the hill to the house.  One can skip the house tour and just enjoy walking the grounds and cemetary.  We opted to the house tour, even though no cameras are allowed inside the house.  This blog entry focuses on the Visitor Center and, most importantly, on the video slides that one can watch and that I took photos of with my iPhone as it progressed.

One of the very best part about the day was spending time in the Museum (free).
