Tom Takes on Boulder's Mountains

Man oh man, my conference was just fantastic!  While I enjoyed Mathew Fox, friends-of-old and my mentor, Lee Kaiser . . . Tom went a-shootin'.  Here is his collection from the last several days. I am so glad he took me along, albeit later upon seeing these images.  You must have been along as well!  Here you go.

Whew!  He was one busy photogger!  My conference ended at noon today.  We packed up the Prius and 'were on the road again'.  Tonight we are in Colorado Springs.  We took in some golden hour shooting at the Garden of the Gods.  NICE!!!  We are headed back there in the morning to shoot the eastern side of the Garden with the rising sun.  Then . . . who knows!  We may stay another night here. Then, back to Albuquerque.

Boulder's Flatirons

The Flatirons are the rock formations so predominant in Boulder landscapes.  There are five flatiron slabs along the eastern slope of Green Mountain.  There is a huge park at their base, Chautauqua Park, that has many hiking trails and is a popular place for hikers and photography!

I have been participating in a conference for two days and Tom has occupied himself by shooting a lot between having the Prius serviced and running errands for the conference.  We hope you enjoy the images.

Tom has dozens more photographs of the mountains around Boulder.  Hopefully we will have a better internet connection tomorrow, the last day of my conference.  We have not decided just what route we will take back to Albuquerque but Garden of the Gods is ranking right up there as an evening shoot.  We will keep in touch.  Miss you.
